As with previous School Quizzes, there are two Categories:
| Comp A: | Under 11 - for entrants aged 10 or younger on 31st December 2024 (Rounds 1 to 10) |
| Comp B: | Under 13 - for entrants aged 12 or younger on 31st December 2024 (Rounds 1 to 12 - two extra rounds) |
